Art Assigned to Class: 8-6(124) | Use the MDJH Art site to help you finish the design stage and begin the final design of the Superhero Painting activity: https://sites.google.com/nlesd.ca/mspenney/8-art
- finalize your rough sketch of your design including a name, backstory, background, and color choice. Be sure to include movement in your design. Make changes now before you commit to painting/coloring your design.
- Find the largest paper you can to complete the final (large) drawing of your design.
- To create a sense of depth in your composition, begin painting/coloring your background first! Take lots of photos as we work.
Next class, we will finish painting our superhero :)

- Using the four steps (1. STUDY the object that you are drawing. 2. Draw the CONTOUR (outline). 3. Draw the SECONDARY SHAPES. 4. Add DETAILS.
- Remember, you are trying to make your drawing look like your object; if your object is imperfect, draw the imperfections :)
